In 2008 I photographed this couple's wedding.  Now they are expecting their first child.  Can't wait to meet the little person in a few weeks time.  Congratulations!

Food and kids, the best combo ever.  Kim wanted images for her new business and website, called "Dedicated to Delicious".  She will be teaching adult and children cooking classes.  What a wonderful idea.  Here are just a few images from our first session.  I will post her website once it goes live.

 


   

waiting for a jet plane {victoria wedding and portrait photographer}

Something very different for me to photograph.  An engagement session with a jet plane as the prop.  C., the pilot of the jet, is with the Canadian Air Force and brought this jet down for the Esquimalt events a couple of weeks ago.  I actually heard him fly over our house at  noon.  Fast, loud and gone the next moment.  So I was a bit in awe to actually see the jet and "work" around it.  Needless to say the couple took center stage.

Michelle and Jason live in Edmonton and came to Victoria for the Easter break.  We had only talked over email up to then and it was great to meet them in person.  We picked a typical Westcoast day with light rain and grey skies.  We still enjoyed our short session at the beach and I am looking forward to their wedding in July.

Photographing a teenager is not something I get to do very often.  So this was a special treat for me. She was a wonderful model with a beautiful smile and the personality to go with.

I had a great family session downtown.  Here are just a few favorites.

I had a wonderful portrait session last evening.  We went to the legislature, odgen point, the lighthouse at the breakwater and to the beach.  It was a beautiful evening.  Perfect to capture some nice moments.
