As usual, I am behind with my posting and processing.  Summer season!  Here are a few favorites from Erin and Oliver's engagement session.  I actually shot their wedding yesterday.  Still loading the wedding images to get a little sneak peek ready.  So please check back later on.

I am so excited to share a little sneak peek of the first images of Jasmine and Charan's formal engagement. Jasmine looked beyond gorgeous and Charan must have stepped right out of a magazine.  Their big wedding day is on Saturday.  Stay tuned for more to come in the next few days.

I usually update my website once a year, not often enough, I know.  These past days with snow and cold were perfect to finally get this job done.  My portrait/commercial site is finished and my wedding site will be done this weekend, hopefully.  So if you feel like checking out the latest images from last year, please click here.  Comments are always welcome.  

e-session part II {victoria portrait and wedding photographer}

You might remember my last post a little while back.  I took pictures of this couple at the Victoria Airport.  Now we picked a different setting for another session of their engagement.  I am very excited to be a part of their upcoming wedding next year.

Something very different for me to photograph.  An engagement session with a jet plane as the prop.  C., the pilot of the jet, is with the Canadian Air Force and brought this jet down for the Esquimalt events a couple of weeks ago.  I actually heard him fly over our house at  noon.  Fast, loud and gone the next moment.  So I was a bit in awe to actually see the jet and "work" around it.  Needless to say the couple took center stage.

Michelle and Jason live in Edmonton and came to Victoria for the Easter break.  We had only talked over email up to then and it was great to meet them in person.  We picked a typical Westcoast day with light rain and grey skies.  We still enjoyed our short session at the beach and I am looking forward to their wedding in July.

My first engagement session this year.  I am looking forward to photograph Emily and Trevor's wedding later this year.

It was cold but so worth it.  Alison and Malcolm were great walking with me through the park and snow to find some nice locations for our session.  I am looking forward to document their wedding at the end of this year.

We made use of the amazing September weather and did an e-session downtown.  Steve and Kanako's wedding will be next year.  I am looking forward to cover their day.

When I first met Genn and Jeff I knew they would be a great couple to take pictures off. We met for the e-session at Beacon Hill Park and then caught the last light at the beach on Dallas Road. They are both so full of energy and fun. Genn has the most infectious laugh you can imagine. I am looking forward to their wedding in September.

Rebecca and Godric are getting married on the 8th of August. A very fun couple. I am looking forward to document their wedding day.

Lots of e-sessions this spring for all the upcoming weddings this year. Here is another session from last week. Natalie and Brett are a very sweet couple and they will tie the knot in July. Natalie's amazing blue eyes will make for some killer wedding images. Can't wait.

We picked a great spring day for this e-session. Kate and Kris were so easy to work with, once the ice was broken. Kris told me he is terrible in front of the camera. Well, he looked awesome and both of them were so relaxed and enjoyed themselves.

I still haven't put away my winter coat but we are finally in some more decent weather to go outdoors. I enjoyed doing this engagement session with Robin and Dave. I will be documenting their wedding day in November. Here are a few of my favorites.

I am behind with my processing.  I shot this session last week downtown.  Tara and Steve were so much fun to work with.  I am looking forward to their wedding in September.

I never used to do e-sessions but I really start to love them.  Yesterday's couple were so much fun.  She pushed here man over with her kiss and they ended up  between the logs giggling.  These are moments worth documenting. :)

I better explain what e-session means.  My friend asked me and she thought it was computer lingo.  e-session stands for engagement session.  For this one I went downtown, my favorite area to shoot.  So much variety and backdrops down there.  We even stopped in a little cafe for a short a rain break.

A nice evening for some pictures in the park and on the beach.  Lindsay and Jamie brought their little puppy along.  Too cute.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Finally, I got to go to the beach and play.  Here is one image from a beach session I had on Friday.  I came down with the cold the next day, but still, it was so lovely to be out and about.  Spring's here tomorrow.

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of Julie and Michael last night.  They hardly needed any directing.  I am looking forward to documenting their wedding day this coming weekend.
