I thought I post a quick note about the September it has been for me. First of, my apologies to all the families who are still waiting for their edited pictures. I am almost caught up and will make sure everything gets done this month. I am involved in a very interesting and challenging project and hope to post about that very soon. So please check back for that. My wedding season is over for this year and I can now focus on album design which I have neglected over the past months. Tomorrow I will do some more work for the 4Cats Arts Academy. More to come on that as well. I found some very cool templates to design smaller calendars which will make wonderful gifts for grandparents. Don't forget, Christmas is just around the corner and if you want some images for Christmas cards, please let me know in time. My October is booking fast right now. Shooting time is pretty much over in November. The grey skies will be with us for a while, unless we get some wonderful crisp snow which makes for amazing pictures. So if you want some last minute fall pictures, please contact me to book a session. That is all for now and no post should be without a picture. Here is one from yesterday's family session.
This little cutie turned two recently. I followed her around for her first year and I can't believe she is two now. Time just rushes by when you have kids. There is always something new to discover and children take you on a journey which you can't really prepare for. Enjoy the moments with your kids, they are so precious.
Families are special, family love is precious, and capturing that bond in camera is so important. This summer I had the opportunity to photograph lots of family reunions and get-togethers. I love photographing this particular family. I had many other sessions with the two little girls before and both of them love being in the pictures. It sure shows.
Grandmas are special, very special. I will always have a special place for my grandmas in my heart. And all the memories I have of them are these little moments of my childhood. But I hardly have any photographs of my grandmas playing with me. So I think it is the greatest gift to grandchildren and grandparents alike to have these memories forever. Here are some pictures from a recent family session which was a gift from two daugthers to their mother. They asked me to capture some moments of their children with their mother.
